The spring season brings in the rise of construction projects all throughout the city as potholes begin to bloom in the streets like flowers in a garden.
Several commuters throughout the city understand how much nuisance potholes can be while maneuvering throughout the city. According to the Chicago Data Portal, the city averages more than 100 potholes patched per week. The city considers the months of December to April to be the prime of the “pothole season.”

Chicago continues to give vaccines throughout the city and residents continue to endlessly search for an appointment.
With the opening of United Center as a mass distribution site, Chicago continues to make progress in distributing COVID-19 vaccines throughout the city. The site had targeted the highest-hit areas of the city. Officials worked with community workers and programs to help residents from these neighborhoods register for an appointment.
The site was specifically chosen for its accessibility and location in the West side of Chicago, according to Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
With the upcoming summer months, graffiti service requests may be on the rise.
The interpretation of graffiti has systematically changed. In a study by About Manchester, they claim that COVID-19 has impacted the way people think about art, especially graffiti.
However, many of the service requests shown are at the fault of vandalism. Several homes experience graffiti vandalism along with their houses and garages. As shown in GoogleMyMaps, the service requests are located all throughout the city.
Texas has recently become the first state to get rid of their mask mandate and open their state backup almost a year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
Gov. Abbott recently announced his intent to open up businesses at 100 percent capacity. This action plans to take place on March 10.

Here are the highest-paid coaches of the 2020 season of the National Collegiate Association.
According to USA Today, Alabama’s Nick Saban ranks number one as the highest-paid coach of 2020 for NCAA Football.
Saban out-ranked other coaches with his total pay being $9,300,000. Saban has been a coach at the University of Alabama since 2007. His success as a coach had him inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame back in 2013.
Chicago residents are one of many cities to begin distribution for the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to data from the City of Chicago portal, this map shows how many vaccines are being distributed daily. The data shows that the highest cumulative vaccines distributed are 487 doses in one day.

As we enter into the fall season, the activities people can do and practice social distancing are limited. However, walking trails seem to be a social distancing alternative for those that desire a time of leisure.
